Gyeongbokgung (Palace)

Gyeongbokgung (Palace) Image Gyeongbokgung Station has classic wall paintings, so you can start experiencing part of Gyeongbokgung (Palace) from the subway station.
If you go across the wide open yard in Gyeongbokgung (Palace), there is a big pond called 'Gyeonghoiru'.
Its water is clean, and there are many fish in it, and its surroundings are beautiful, too, which makes it a perfect spot for picture taking.

At Geunjungjun right next to the pond, they hold gatekeepers’ shift change ceremonies four times a day everyday.
The Royal Guard dressed in traditional court attire brings back the sentiment of the old days.
During the ceremonies, you can take pictures with the royal guards, which will make a good remembrance. The Palace Museum next to the Gyeongbokgung Station has a lot of traditional cultural heritage on display, which can help with the study of Korean history.
It takes about 2hours to look around the palace.
